Vehicle Inspection Lane (MOT) Tester

GT Engineers is seeking a Vehicle Inspection Lane Supervisor to join its team in Nicosia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient operation of the vehicle inspection lane, customer service, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and quality procedures.

• Conduct and/or supervise vehicle technical inspections.
• Ensure the proper operation of inspection equipment.
• Maintain compliance with quality procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Review and validate vehicle inspection results.
• Provide customer service and information to clients.
• Coordinate the daily operation of the inspection lane.
• Record and manage technical or operational issues.
• Work closely with management to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Use specialised information systems and management software.

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Registration, or eligibility for registration, in the Register of Vehicle Inspection Lane Supervisors maintained by the Department of Road Transport (DRT).
• Excellent command of the Greek language.
• Good command of the English language.
• Good computer literacy.
• Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with customers.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
