The practical part of the programme focuses on applying technical knowledge to real inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures for hybrid and electric vehicles. Participants are trained in the use of appropriate equipment, measurement procedures, high-voltage system checks, diagnosis of electric motors, batteries, drivetrain systems, braking, suspension, steering, and active and passive safety systems. The programme is linked to the Occupational Standard for Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technician (CyQF/EQF Level 4).
Course Objectives
Participants will be able to apply safe working procedures on high-voltage vehicles, select and use appropriate measuring equipment, perform inspections and diagnostics, and contribute to the correct maintenance and repair of hybrid and electric vehicles.
