The programme focuses on the fundamental principles of safe loading and cargo transport in road transport operations. It covers correct weight distribution, vehicle stability, selection of suitable securing equipment, prevention of load movement, risks arising from incorrect loading and the responsibilities of drivers, loaders and transport operators. The aim is to prevent road accidents and protect the driver, other road users and the transported goods.

Participants will be able to recognise risks related to incorrect loading, apply basic principles of safe load distribution, use suitable securing equipment and check load safety before and during transport.
